Beyond Mayflower Hill: The College is extending its partnerships and reach to improve the lives of people and communities across Maine.

Colby College is expanding its impact beyond its campus by partnering with communities across Maine on initiatives that strengthen economic development, climate resilience, education, and civic life - illustrating its commitment to being a "private college for the public good." Part of this expansion of impact is due to collaborations, including with Dan and Sheryl Tishman's NorthLight Foundation, to build community resilience following disasters in coastal Maine.

Katahdin Woods and Waters receives $1M grant toward monument’s visitor center

The campaign has received support from over 200 donors including leadership gifts from the Roxanne Quimby Foundation, Elliotsville Foundation Inc., Burt’s Bees, L.L.Bean, the National Park Foundation and the NorthLight Foundation.
